Before May I Design was set up by Meg Harris, she had always dabbled in crafts. When she was a little girl she would buy paper plates to decorate and then 'sell' them from her Wendy house at the end of the garden.
This passion for making things has never gone away. Meg graduated from Staffordshire University in 2008 with a Fine Art degree and went back to study further modules in Surface Pattern Design. In 2020 she launched her first product range at The British Craft and Trade Fair online and was delighted (and super surprised) to win 'Best Newcomer'.
All of Meg's designs start as free motion machine embroidered originals, so each is unique.
